Overview
About Auralight International
Aura Light is a luminaire manufacturer for professional environments, founded in 1930 under the LUMA brand. The group is headed by Aura Light International AB in Solna, Sweden, with local companies in Sweden (Vimmerby), Germany (Hamburg) and Norway (Lysaker) and an international sales team that handles enquiries from other markets. The listed website is the group's Swedish site, with an English language version also available.
The company's range is built around three product areas. Its luminaires are designed as flexible and smart solutions for public spaces, commercial premises and property. Its light sources are aimed at applications that need high efficiency and low energy consumption. Its smart lighting controls are mainly sensors, which the company says work with all of its luminaires across a wide range of areas. Application areas highlighted on the site include public spaces, industry and retail.
Approach and support
Aura Light states that its focus is on energy efficiency, visual comfort and resource efficient choices of material. It publishes a sustainability report and environmental product declarations for its products, and offers lighting consultations through its sales team. Lighting designers can download DIALux and RELUX plug-ins to model Aura Light products, and the company produces product catalogues and brochures, including a 2026 highlights catalogue. Popular products are held in stock and dispatched from the warehouse within one to three days.
The site does not list a UK office or UK distributor, and UK customers are directed to the international sales team.
