Chellan Highway Safety Services Ltd is part of the Chellan Group of Companies incorporated in 2015. Our mission is to provide Industry leading CCTV Monitoring to the Highways sector using the latest technology whilst increasing efficiency. We are the only company in the UK that specialise in TTM CCTV Monitoring.

We’re highly qualified, with accreditations including Achilles Gold, Constructionline, and ISO 9001:2015. We’re also Cyber Essentials certified, a member of the Prompt Payment Code, and hold Silver membership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School. We were proud to receive the Best Collaboration Award 2024 for our work on the Midlands NEAR Schemes as part of the SMP Alliance.

We have our own accredited training course TTM CCTV (on major schemes) which ensures our staff are trained and assessed to the highest standards. All staff have National Highways Passports and are BS7858 Security Cleared.

We monitor Temporary Highway Schemes mainly for Free recovery purposes. We have the ability to monitor up to 400 Cameras at anytime with provision for another 400-600 Cameras if required. Alongside real time monitoring we use analytics to help spot things such as stopped vehicles, Incursions, Pedestrians etc.

By using our HUB we can save 50% on costs versus traditional onsite monitoring per site. Monitoring from our Hub will dramatically reduce the carbon footprint compared with onsite monitoring. We have Dedicated fibre internet lines and supply a dedicated landline for each scheme. We use Chellans Reporting software to ensure you have live data when you need it with automatic KPI reporting. Our HUB has back up power, internet and phones to ensure 100% operational time.
