Overview
About RelyOn Develop
RelyOn Develop, formerly Develop Training, is a UK provider of compliance, technical and safety training and assessment. Founded in 2007, Develop Training was acquired in November 2024 by RelyOn, a global safety and competence business serving the renewable energy, oil and gas, maritime, utilities and facilities sectors, and now operates as RelyOn Develop. The company says it has supported many of the UK's largest infrastructure companies as well as thousands of smaller organisations, and trains more than 10,000 delegates a year.
Courses are grouped by industry, covering utilities, estates and facilities management, the Ministry of Defence and healthcare, and by topic, covering street works, confined spaces, electrical, gas, water, mechanical, explosive areas, and leadership and management. A digital library offers online courses in electrical awareness and energy grid subjects. Its stated focus is the UK's electrical, facilities and utility infrastructure sectors.
Training centres
The company has dedicated training centres at Codham Hall, Great Warley, Brentwood, Essex; Edison Park, Swindon, Wiltshire; and Huby, York. Each has practical facilities and training rooms built for training and assessment under controlled conditions.
Its training and qualifications are accredited by CABWI Awarding Body, City and Guilds, EU Skills, ILM (as an approved centre), IOSH, NICEIC, the Water Jetting Association and Water UK. For its management systems it lists ISO 45001, ISO 27001, Gas Safe Register and Achilles UVDB, and it is a member of IGEM.
