Galliford Try's Infrastructure business delivers highways and civil engineering work for Galliford Try, one of the UK's leading construction groups, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 250. The wider group works across education, defence, health, custodial, residential, commercial, infrastructure, environment, facilities management and digital infrastructure.
The Infrastructure business has worked on major arterial routes across the UK and is one of National Highways' leading partners through the Regional Delivery Partnership. It also delivers schemes for local authorities through frameworks such as the Midlands Highways Alliance, and in 2026 was appointed to the Pagabo Civil Engineering framework. In Scotland, its projects include the Queensferry Crossing.
Highways projects shown on its website include the Lincoln Eastern Bypass, the M49 at Avonmouth, Rugby Radio, smart motorway schemes in the East Midlands and Manchester, the Carlisle Southern Link Road and the South East Aylesbury Link Road. Its Banwell Bypass was named Infrastructure Project of the Year in 2026, and the business won four Highways Champions Awards and was named Organisation of the Year at the ICE Awards. It works with Qflow, using AI to support carbon reporting.
The infrastructure team is led by managing director Glennan Blackmore, with operations directors covering regional infrastructure and Infrastructure Scotland, whose experience spans highways, highway structures, coastal protection, water and wastewater. Group capabilities include carbon reduction, digital delivery and off site manufacture.
