GGP Systems is a Croydon based software company supplying geographic information systems, gazetteer management and related tools to UK local authorities and other public sector organisations. The company was established in 1992, and says it was founded after developing what many regarded as one of the first GIS products designed for a PC platform. It reports 30 years of public sector experience and over 100 public sector customers.
Its GIS is cloud based and can read from and write to spatial databases, storing layers in line with Open Geospatial Consortium standards. GGP NGz manages corporate property and street gazetteers as a spatially enabled National Land and Property Gazetteer solution, keeping the NLPG updated from the authority's LLPG and integrating with back office systems such as planning, building control and CRM. A street naming and numbering product manages the administrative process for naming new streets and numbering properties.
In 2025 the company added AI consulting, helping organisations plan digital transformation and implement AI solutions, alongside an AI Academy of training programmes for public sector staff.
