About Highways Electrical Association
The HEA the Highway Electrical Association is a new organisation with a big history (60 years in 2012). Formed by the amalgamation of ASLEC the Association of Signals Lighting and other highway Electrical Contractors - and HEMSA the Highway Electrical Manufacturers and Suppliers Association in 2011 streetlight repairit represents over 80 Members whose contracting activities range from street lighting traffic signals and signs to highway communications and camera systems and approximately 40 Members who manufacture assemble supply and distribute equipment into the Highway Electrical Sector as well as overseeing and client organisations.
This makes it one of the largest and most influential body in the sector. Membership of the HEA is open to any organisation operating in the highway electrical contracting market.
