HRS was established in 2011, following the death of a Road Worker in Lincolnshire, UK. This tragic incident, caused by an errant vehicle, was the catalyst for the development of an Incursion Warning System for road workers which is now recognised as best practice by our industry and Highways England.

Our mission is to provide technology-based ‘Smart’ Work Zone Solutions that significantly reduce incidents which can occur from vehicle incursions and vehicles movement in temporary work zones. This, whilst providing road users with accurate real-time data relating to roadworks information.

Our award winning solutions have proven to safeguard road workers and the travelling public, whilst delivering cost savings in temporary traffic management. Our solutions are underpinned by our very own Internet of Things (IoT) device platform. This platform enables communication between smart devices and road workers over an unlimited distance whilst delivering real time data.

Our sensor solutions are based on the innovative Intellicone® communication system. This enables the rapid deployment of an electronically monitored, alarmed temporary barrier and provides unique objective real-time road works information to our clients enabling greater efficiency and providing accurate information to key stakeholders and road users.
