The Quickcone sets up in seconds, resists wind and buffeting, and folds flat for compact storage in a vehicle. It has been tested and used on highways with the Department for Transport, and flat traffic delineators of this type are referenced in the Traffic Signs (Temporary Obstructions) Regulations 1997. The design has received a British Design Award and recognition in the KPMG Innovation Challenge, and the company has invested in patents, trade marks and registered designs to protect it.

Product range

Each cone stands 45cm high with a 15.5cm base and weighs 1.4kg. Cones are supplied singly for keeping in a car boot, in fluorescent fabric bags of two or four, or in a hard plastic carry case of eight. A clip on LED strobe light, available in blue or red and powered by two AA batteries, slots onto a cone in seconds to add a steady or flashing warning.

Users listed on the site include the RAC, Sussex Police, Kent Police, Norfolk Constabulary, East Sussex Fire Brigade, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Wiltshire and Swindon Fire Authority, together with overseas forces such as the Norwegian Highway Patrol and Singapore Police.
